Steps to connect and install an HP LaserJet Pro printer to a wireless network with a USB cable:
Power on your printer.
Disconnect any USB or network cables.
Navigate to the driver installation file.
Double-click the file.
Follow the on-screen prompts to continue the installation.
Select Help me set up a first-time connection, then continue following the prompts.
Connect a USB cable from the printer to your computer.
Confirm that the wireless settings are correct for your network and select Yes, Use settings from the computer.
Click Next.
Disconnect the USB cable from the printer and your computer.
The printer software installs, this might take several minutes.
Follow the on-screen prompts to finish.
